BECOME INVOLVED The Gympie Community Place is a wheelchair accessible and non-discriminatory neighbourhood centre that is available to the community as a resource and meeting place.
The centre is keen to attract people from local and regional communities to become members of its Association, and to invite people to become involved in developing and offering a variety of services, activities and interest groups.
As an Incorporated Association, the Gympie Community Place hosts a monthly General Meeting, which is a forum where members are encouraged to attend, participate and have a say in the centre’s present activities and future directions.
People, their ideas, energy and inspiration are the life essence of the centre. We welcome you to come and be involved in making the centre a vibrant and relevant community place.

ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION
A service for adults with an intellectual disability. Provides accommodation, non-vocational and supported employment services within the Cooloola area. Services for people who are funded to receive adult lifestyle service and in-home support service.

Gympie Mental Health Service
This confidential service is available to residents of Cooloola Shire free of charge who are experiencing a serious mental health problem, or mental disorder.
Services include assessments, referral to other services, case management, psychiatric and medical review as necessary.

GYMPIE CHILD & YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE
The Gympie Child & Mental Health Service is part of the Gympie Health Service District Mental Health Service and provides service to the Gympie Health Service District which covers Cooloola Shire.
CYMHS is a community service which provides mental health assessment for children and young people (up to 18 years of age) whose mental health issues are severe and complex, or are at risk of becoming so, and whose needs cannot be met by other services.
