MINS: Multicultural information network service

MINS helps migrants from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds with information and referrals to help them get settled in Gympie.

We offer one to one assistance and develop cross-cultural projects to help CALD people become more engaged in our community.

MINS assists migrants to improve their access to government and community services.  We consult with these organisations about the needs and issues of migrants.

We provide a central focus and act as a drop in centre for migrants, particularly those who have recently arrived.

MINS hosts "Culture Friends" - a cross cultural friendship club where people from all cultures, including Australian and Indigenous, can meet, talk, share food and culture, and take part in interesting activities once a month.
