MEDITATION

BOSOM BUDDIES

Are a group of women who have experienced breast cancer. They meet at Women's Health on the second Tuesday of every month from 10.30 to noon.

SOUL SURVIVORS GROUP

Any women who has experienced, or is currently experiencing domestic and family violence is invited to attend a support group hosted by Lee from the SCOPE Cooloola Office.

COMPUTOR COURSE

.Gympie Community Place has volunteers available to share their computer skills with the absolute beginner or the nervous novice.  The skill sharing is aimed at the home user and is not vocationally orientated.

Sessions have no more than five people, with one-to-one sessions also possible.  There is no set agenda or course outline, which allows people’s individual needs to be met in a flexible and personalised manner.  There is a small fee charged to cover costs.

Living Well

Join Jo in exploring techniques for enhancing our physical and emotional well-being. Replenish what you give to others! Explore techniques for relaxation such as meditation and breath work. Jo will also be looking at identifying patterns and habits, good and bad, ways of challenging barriers to changing bad habits and develop healthier approaches to life.

The Good & Bad of Anger

Is anger making your life a misery? Flying off the handle just makes things worse. Often we are angry, there is another emotion such as fear or grief being your anger. This course teaches techniques for managing your anger and communicating your emotions effectively.

SAFE CHOICES: Domestic Violence Perpetrators Program.

Lifeline has started their much awaited program for perpetrators of Domestic Violence. Supported by Gympie Police, Probation & Correction Service and our local magistrate; aiming to help reduce the incidence of Domestic Violence in our community.

Healing Yoga: At Yoga & Relaxation Centre, Alma Street, Gympie
